Studio Matthew Brooks (SMB) offers precise and accurate documentation services for exhibitions at project spaces, galleries, institutions, and museums. Bringing years of large format experience to the table, our documentation is free of optical distortion, unnaturally wide perspectives, and converging lines. SMB has documented exhibitions at the McCord Museum, Optica, Galerie Antoine Ertaskiran, Occurrence, and FoFA Gallery among others.

Depending on the budget and level of quality required, either high-end full-frame or medium format digital cameras will be used in conjunction with 24-patch or 140-patch reference targets to ensure accurate reproductions of all artworks. RAW files are then processed on SMB’s custom workstation with calibrated Eizo ColorEdge monitors and Quadro graphics featuring 10-bit simultaneous display.
